WELLINGS STUNS AGAIN WITH 4TH FASTEST EVER 😯
It’s quite extraordinary to think that Eloise Wellings (Sutherland District Athletics Club) was on a mission to qualify for the 5000m at the Tokyo Olympics in June last year. In the space of nine months, she is now the highest-ranked women’s marathoner in the country, and fourth fastest in history. 🔥
A jaw-dropping 2:25:10 (4min 9sec PB) at this morning’s Nagoya Marathon has cemented Eloise’s early success in the Marathon – now her third – and will go into the Comm Games/World Champs cycle full of confidence of going even better in the green & gold this July. 💚💛
