The women’s champion in our last edition of the Elzy Wellings 1000, Ivy Boothroyd will be returning to take on the best in the main event this Saturday.
If you would like to be apart of the action, get your entries in before 10AM Thursday morning!
Prize money will be up for grabs in the 1000m main event! The prizes on offer will be $300 for 1st, $150 for 2nd and $100 for 3rd place in the men’s and women’s races.
In addition, there will be a $1,000 bonus in this event if the Australian Record is broken in both the men’s and women’s races.
$5 from each entry will go to Eloise’s charity Love Mercy Foundation which aims to provide aid and empower communities in Northern Uganda.

To ensure we have a successful meet, we need volunteers who can help out in the following areas;
• volunteer coordinator
• equipment set up and pack up
• moving hurdles on and off track
• BBQ Coordinator
• Working in canteen/BBQ (4 people per hour)
• assisting with discus
• assisting on the track / with photo finish
• parking / entry
