This week’s Cross Country will be at Bangor on Sat 15 May

This race will also be run in honour of Ron O’Meara, a former member of our club with the Ron O’Meara Perpetual Trophy being given to the best handicap performance from either the 2km or 3km race on the day. A minimum number of runs are required to be eligible for the trophy which will be presented on Presentation Day.

The course goes over a variety of surfaces such as grass, trail and a short road section. The courses are undulating for the 1 – 5km which follow the Bangor Ridge. The 10km is more challenging and traverses down a steep hill before encountering more undulating terrain before returning.

2km – 2pm
3km – 2:15pm
5km – 2:30pm
10km – 3pm
