Congratulations to Jono McLennan who competed last Sunday in the Australian and NSW Mountain Running Championships in Orange!
He finished 4th in the NSW Championship and 6th in the Australian Championship, a terrific result considering the very difficult course conditions.
The Orange course has a total elevation gain of 520m over 11km with 2 very long, steep ascents in the first half followed by climbs up and down 3 steep and technical mountain peaks finishing on the peak of Mount Canobolas to finish the very challenging race. https://www.greatvolcanic.org/course-maps/gvmc-course-map
