Oceania Championships 2024- U16 and U20 Team Challenge Competition
Sutherland District Athletics Club are looking for our athletes U16 and U20 to express their interest to compete in the Oceania Championships Team Challenge in Suva, Fiji, from June 4th to June 8th.
The Oceania Team Championships will include the following events:
Track: 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 3000, Short Hurdles, Long Hurdles, Steeplechase
Field: Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Discus, Hammer, Javelin
Relays 4×100, Swedish Medley (100m, 200m, 300m, 400m)
Should the criteria for forming a team to represent be met, the club will cover the cost of the team levee.
All travel and accommodation for Fiji will be covered by the athlete/athlete family.
This represents a fantastic opportunity to compete in what is described as the pinnacle event within the Oceania for athletics!

1.4. The competition will be held in the following Age Groups/Divisions:
➢ Women Under 16
➢ Women Under 20
➢ Men Under 16
➢ Men Under 20
1.5. Age taken as of 31 December in the year of competition
1.6. Teams can enter a maximum of 20 athletes in a team
