Cross country this Saturday will be at Bangor.
This is a special event as part of the annual Ron O’Meara Run which commemorates this former member.
Ron made significant contributions to the club, including setting aside a fund to award one junior athlete each year with a cash prize to aid in their Athletic development at the conclusion of the Winter Season for their efforts during the season.
This event’s significance centres on the 2km and 3km where the runner who achieves the best handicap performance on the day will be the winner of the Ron O’Meara trophy which will be presented at the conclusion of the season.
Apart from this special item, all events will run as normal.
