After a close look at the state of Lady Carrington Drive and in addition to the extra logistics requirements put in place to run the event, the committee have made the unfortunate decision to cancel the Sutherland Half Marathon for 2022.
This decision was challenging. After two years of COVID restrictions the 2022 year represented much positivity for the winter season and this included the running of the most historic half marathon race in southern Sydney.
On behalf of the committee, we would like to thank our members, National Parks and runners who we planning to run with us on the 20th. For those that have entered, we will be processing refunds shortly.
Mother Nature may have had her way in 2022, however we are looking forward to an even bigger and better Sutherland Half Marathon in 2023!
