Congratulations to Eloise Wellings who finished 4th yesterday in the Women’s Marathon at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham!
Wellings finished in 2:30:51 on a course with some hilly sections in what was her first time competing in the Marathon at the Commonwealth Games but 5th time competing at the Games overall.
Also in this event, fellow Australians Jessica Stenson finished in 1st in 2:27:31 and Sinead Diver finished 5th in 2:31:06 making for a great overall performance by the Australian women in the Marathon.
