Due to the ongoing COVID19 restrictions over the last 3 months, the winter season has been unable to continue and now with all major championships being called off, the committee has now decided to officially END the Club Winter season.

For all winter pointscores (Handicap and Club Championship) which have been carried out during the winter season, the winners in each category will be awarded based on points issued up to the last run that was held in June. The winter season presentations will occur at a later date TBC once we have received guidance from the government concerning gatherings.

For the upcoming season, due to the disruptions caused by COVID19, the club will not be charging a fee on top of ANSW’s set fee for registration for the season. This will mean a $25 saving for registration from last season. Details to come later this year.

There are many events on offer this season ranging from State Distance running championships (3000, 5000 and 10000m), junior, open and masters track and field state and national championships as well as many interclub events some of, we expect to be hosting this summer. Following the summer track and field season, the winter Cross country and road racing season begins with many exciting events such as the Novice Championships, Sydney 10 and NSW Cross Country Championships. In addition, we will be holding Club Cross country races on the vast majority of weekends during the winter season at different locations in the local area which will give everyone a chance to run each weekend!

Finally, we would like to thank our members for their patience during this testing time and look forward to the return of community sport in the near future.
