Congratulations to Oliver Hoare who has performed very well in his first ever Olympic Games!π
A superb result to reach the final, in what was a very fast Olympic Final in which 6 runners broke the Olympic record.
Ollie finished in 11th place running 3:35.79, a terrific performance considering the hot and humid conditions that have been faced in Tokyo.
It’s been very impressive to witness Ollie’s development as a runner from being a regular competitor at Sutherland club events to an accomplished high school and college athlete to becoming a professional athlete who has now represented Australia at the Olympic Games!
