Sutherland highlights from Day 4 & 5 of the Australian Championships.

Ivy Boothroyd won the U15 women 800m final in 2:09.48 well clear of 2nd by over 4 seconds.

In the U15 women 200m hurdles, Jordan Moore qualified 1st in her heat for the FINAL in 29.78. In a separate heat, Tammin Lampret also qualified in 2nd running 30.67.
Later in the final, Moore finished 2nd in 29.66 with Lampret finishing in 4th in 30.43.

Jasynta Lampret qualified 3rd in the U16 women 200m hurdles in 30.31 and finishing 5th in the final in 30.34.

Alma Robb was part of the NSW team that won the U20 women 4x400m relay.

Sarah Walsh won the Open Women Para Long Jump with a mark of 5.17m.

In the Open Women’s Hammer, Alex Hulley finished 2nd in the heats with a throw of 56.08m to qualify for the final. Also qualifying for the final, Renee Hardy who threw 49.10m.

In the Open Womens 100m, Kyla King qualified for the final with a time of 12.24.

Emma Lee qualified for the U17 women 100m final finishing 2nd in her heat in 12.07. Later she finished 3rd in the final in 12.03.

Jessica Wardrobe qualified for the U18 women 100m final finishing 2nd in her heat in 12.50. Later she finished 3rd in the final in 12.34.

In the U17 women 1500m heat, Mia Toohey (time 4:41.25) and Lucy Alexander (time 4:46.87) both qualified for the final.

Sally Shokry came 3rd in the Open Women Discus with a throw of 48.81m.
She also came 4th in Open Discus heat with 48.81m to progress to the final.

Amy Bennett in the Open Women 800m qualified for the final finishing 2nd in her heat in 2:07.69.

Costa Kousparis finished 2nd in the Open Men Hammer with a throw of 66.75m.
